I recently contracted with Shane to do work, gave him $4000 deposit, after two weeks of no work I asked for my deposit back. He bought no materials and provided only 2 labors for 4 hrs one day. He refuses to give back the remainder of the deposit. I am having to sue him in Circuit Court to get my deposit.

Shane and his team not only graded my yard but built a retaining wall, free standing wall and a firepit that was beyond my expectations. The entire team was professional and hard workers, something that is hard to find today. Shane was responsive to the changes I requested and did so promptly. I would highly recommend Cobblestone excavating to anybody that needs that type of work done!

Cobblestone Excavating (Shane) did a beautiful job on regrading and resloping our back yard to prevent water from entering our basement. His crew also built a gorgeous wall as part of the project. After completing the project, Shane regraded and regraveled our driveway, also done to perfection. He was completely forthright and honest in his dealings - including price breakdowns as warranted. He kept us apprised of his work, and welcomed our phone calls as well. I loved his customer service skills - phone calls were returned promptly, etc. I'd like to add that Shane is friends with the roads and grounds engineer for the High Knob community in Front Royal. With the restrictions and covenants there, that's a plus! We will keep Cobblestone Excavating in mind for future projects.

I needed trees and stumps removed from the storm we had 3 weeks ago. He removed the trees and stumps and reseeded the grass. They were big trees and you can’t even tell they were there. Took extra care not to tear up my yard where he was working. Very professional job. I didn’t need the wood and he kindly hauled it away. I would highly recommend Shane for any future work on your property.

Shane had a great outlook on what i needed to do my driveway ! He finished it on time and below budget. He also replaced 100 feet of my split rail fence and it is a beautiful job ! I would highly advise any one that needs any work done on there land to give him a call first !!

Shane was on time, very professional and completed the job as he had stated in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. I would recommend him. The work he did in grading and the gravel work to our driveway was excellent.
