Prior to my moving to MN Charlie picked up my grandfather clock agreeing to sell on consignment in his front royal shop, that was May of 2016. I have not heard from him since, numerous calls went unanswered and I left several messages. Recently I had a friend in Luray make phone contact with him, he stated he sold my clock but lost my address, she gave him my address, I asked he send my money by April 15th, needless to say, have not received anything. He stated I should get around $700 for it, my next step will have to be court action. He seemed like a nice person, but has no business ethic. Do not do business with him!

I'm worried. The gentleman seems to be nice and friendly, but he has had my clocks for several months without completing the work or giving me updates. He says he is searching for parts. I would have expected him to have good resources for parts. One clock, when he put it on the rack, he said it just needed cleaning. Now he's searching for parts for it. My last few attempts to contact him went unanswered.

So far we are very pleased,. The issue was discovered and the guts of the clock were taken to the shop to be cleaned and repaired,. We expect the clock to be back up and running within 8 - 10 weeks!
