I wish I saw these reviews before I went with this "company". I have been promised so many things and got nothing but headachs. It's worth an extra $50 or $100 for peace of mind to get cabinets that don't remind you of the hell you went through.

This guy is incredibly rude. I don't care how low his prices are, I refuse to give business to someone that treats others as poorly as he does.

Hello. I am John Martin and I own Mountain City Cabinets. Lincoln said, "You can't please all the people all the time.) How true. For 22 years, We have bent over backwards to please our customers but, every once in a while we encounter one that we just can't satisfy no matter how hard we try. Our 100% refund gurantee means just that, if a customer is not pleased with us - for any reason - we take back our product(s) and refund every penny of their money! That's as fair as we know how to be. So, to the very small percentage of our customers who choose to anonymously attack us on the internet we say, "Sorry we couldn't help you." God bless. JMM

This business provides a quality well made product at a very reasonable cost, but that is where the satisfaction ends. This business does not provide friendly customer service and their promise of work done on a timely basis is non-existent. The owner wants to construct everything to his specifications and when the customer does not agree he is very demeaning and rude. After waiting nearly 16 weeks for products that were promised in 8 weeks, I, the customer, had the gall to call and find out what the problem was and why my kitchen was not being delivered in the manner that it was promised. I was informed that "he was doing the best he can" and that he had too much work to handle. My advice, Mr. Business owner is, if you can't handle the amount of work being entrusted to you, don't accept the work in the first place. When a customer contacts you with the intent of spending upward of $ 15,000 for kitchen cabinets and accessories, if you can't produce within the time line that the customer needs or is unwilling to accept, be honest and say so. You'll get a lot further along if you are up front with the initial contact and don't make promises that you can't keep. Also, I have never had a business owner of any type curse me when inquiring on a business transaction until I did business with this company. If you are willing to wait indefinitely for your new kitchen and don't mind dealing with an arrogant, sarcastic business owner, by all means, patronize this business. If not, think twice.

Dissatisfied Customer (Allegany County)

I had purchased cabinets through this company and when they arrived the cabinetry didn't all match and half of the cabinet doors were damaged somehow. The owner gave me a hard time and told me that I was being to perticular, but that he was going to try and remedy the situation and repaint all of the bases of the cabinets and repair or end up replacing all of the damaged doors. Employees of the business came and took all of the cabinets back to the warehouse where they were to be fixed. When they arrived at my home to be reinstalled a second time some of the cabinets had not been fixed and the doors that were originally damaged had been fixed, but were now a different color from the rest of the doors. The cabinets had now been handled so much back and forth from the place of installation, to the shop and back again that now there were new damages to some of the doors. When I asked to have things repaired again I was given attitude and told that I would be getting all of my money back and good luck that they hope that someone else can make me happy as picky as I was being. I AM SO SORRY FOR BEING SO PICKY, IF YOU FORGOT I AM THE ONE FOOTING THE BILL!!! I don't understand for one second how someone can own a business and be somewhat successful when they treat their customers like they did my husband and I. I hope that this forwarns anyone remotely thinking of going with Mountain City. My husband and I decided on them after getting prices from other places. They were the best priced hands down, but I guess it's true that you get what you pay for. I must admit that I was warned by several people about some of the shady work that they do, even read reviews on them and still decided to take a chance and we are regretting every minute of it! Now I'm back to square one with no kitchen and I needed one yesterday! No one should be treated this way.
