Doctors here are great. However, we just had a poor experience with them. 2 weeks ago, my daughter broke her glasses. They told us no problem and ordered a new pair at no cost due to warranty and would take a week to be delivered. We picked up the glasses 2 weeks later when they came in. Again, no problem. Then they next day, they told us we owed them $350. They then said we had to bring in the broken frames (first mention of this). We informed them they were thrown away. They then told us we could pay half or return our child's glasses. We (not they) called our insurance and found they would cover most of it. We called back Visual Eyes and they said perfect and we would owe nothing. Again, they call us back the following day. They now said they were going to bill our insurance $480 but we would still owe them $180, which is more than the original out of pocket cost. We told them we were going to find a new provider, and they agreed that we should. So, to end this rant, even after they told us twice that costs were covered by warranty and then by insurance, they came back later to say we owe them more money. Does anyone else have this issue with this company?
