Stopped at RaceTrac for gas as I was leaving Broward Boulevard for the ride home to Vero Beach on I-95 north.

This particular RaceTrac is only a few years old and already in disrepair. It's almost like no one cares. Dirty facility, many "out-of-order" pumps, homeless people milling about and sleeping outside - not to mention gasoline pumps that repeatedly reject your credit card prompting you to pay inside.

No complaint on the price of gas as it was my choice to stop at this RaceTrac. Located just west of Interstate 95 on Broward Blvd, they are on the south side of the street. You can't miss them.

Driving into RaceTrac on this visit, I had to circle the parking lot three times to actually find an open and available pump. Several other customers waiting for or pumping gas, but an almost equal amount of "out-of-order" pumps, as indicated in my photos.

Two different credit cads - rejected three times - I was prompted to "pay inside." Paying inside, the clerk indicated that "this happens all the time." Definitely not convenient for those who have no desire to step inside this unkempt RaceTrac.

That's my review - not sure if RaceTrac cares or will ever fix the problems with this relatively young gas station and convenience store.
