Diocesan Catholic Children's Home, located in Fort Mitchell, Ky., and founded more than 150 years ago, provides treatment to children ages 6 to 14 suffering from emotional and behavioral problems. The organization offers services for child, family and behavioral health care issues, including residential treatment, therapeutic foster care, adoption, counseling and special education. It is accredited by the Council on Accreditation and also has a Kentucky state certified Guardian Angel School on its campus. The school offers programs such as music, arts, crafts, physical education and field trips. Diocesan Catholic Children's Home also offers recreational activities that help a child develop athletic skills, coordination, self-esteem and teamwork.
