Mechanic did not repair my car over 2 months.

He did not give my money back to me ,but just said

"sue me, sue me".He promised and signed on Nov. 1,2013 on the paper if he did not fix my car until Nov. 8,2013, he give my money back to me.

I was having some problems with my truck (2007 F-150), related to my transmission, and refused to take it to the dealership since the warranty had expired and their labor fees are through the roof. I was referred to Commonwealth Transmission by a close friend who I rely on for car advice.



I spoke to Edgar from Commonwealth Transmission over the phone to explain my issue. He was extremely helpful and very pleasant to speak with. I took my truck to his shop so that he could test-drive the vehicle and determine what was wrong with the transmission. Edgar confirmed that the cause of the problem was due to the torque converter.



He took the time to review the year and model of my truck to verify if the issue was reported as common, if there were any recalls on the model regarding the torque converter, confirmed that the warranty was expired before performing any repairs and even took me along during an additional test-drive so that I could review the diagnostic details.



Edgar was very patient and worked with my schedule since I live in OC but work in LA. He would stay later for me to get to his shop and even stopped by on a Sunday, when he was closed, just so that I could drop my truck off.



The repair was completed promptly and my truck is like new again. The replacement part has a 1 year/12000 mile warranty. I also got a free oil change. The price was unbeatable.



Overall, Edgar and his staff were very professional, personable and treated me with sincere respect. I highly recommend them for any vehicle repairs you may need. Their work is very reliable and dependable. I will go back to Commonwealth Transmission for all future concerns and potential repairs. I have been and will highly recommend Edgar and his team to all of my friends and family. I am very happy with their work.

Muchas veces estamos preguntando por trabajos que no cuesten mucho en mi persona me paso. Otros talleres nos cobran menos pero cuantas veces regresamos. Es por eso que me quedo de experiencia pagar un poco mas pero mi trabajo es 100% garantizado. Yo recomiendo Comomwealth transmission & auto repair.

I used to go to the Dealer and they charge 3 times more than Edgar when he told me the total for the Transmission repair I could i couldn't believe it!! and what he did for my car was amazing!! when I took my car to the dealership 3 months later the transmission was down and they told me I need to buy a new car so my friend told me about this place and I've been driving my car with no problem and it has been more than 1 year since I got it fix so since then I always bring all my family friends to have their car fix. not just because the price it's because the good experience that we had here. I have been to Fisk Automotive and also EZ Lube in Brea.. Lets just say that the customer service and speed I received here was the BEST. I have had a "leaking AC" EZ Lube didnt do it right and Fisk could not find the leak... Came here and in 1 fix everything works perfect now!
