Providing Christian counseling at patient's request I have experience in private clinical practice, home health, institutional practice and management regarding mental health services, working with individuals, couples, families and groups. I've provided Red Cross Disaster Mental Health in natural and man made disasters, trained health related groups in Ethics as well as Crisis Intervention and lead groups and committees on Cultural Competence. A 20 year member of the National Assoc. of Social Work my therapy approach is eclectic to meet the needs of each patient. Counseling and training are NOT just a job to me - I enjoy the practice, stay up-to-date on professional self training and view health of the mind, the body and the spirit as intertwined.
