AAA has terrible customer service. The weather stripping came off the door to my storage unit. The lady at the counter said I could leave the key with her and it would be repaired. I left my key and returned in a week. I was asked to give them another week, so I did. It turned out their idea of repairing the weather stripping was to just rip it off. It was never replaced and I was then told "we don't do that." Then why ask for my key? I had a very bad problem with a mouse and Palmetto bug (those giant roaches) infestation and when I told management, the response was "what do you want me to do? I can't be responsible for what people next to you have in their unit." So again, nothing was done. Another time I tried to access my unit and the gate code would not work. It turned out that management had deactivated my gate code for failing to pay the monthly fee, even though my check had been posted by the bank and the woman said she remembered me paying! My family had driven almost an hour to pick up furniture, then drove home again and had to return the next day when the office opened at 8:00 due to this employee's mistake. No apologies, and nothing was done about it. Also, payments have to be made during business hours; there is no drop box or any attempt at making payments more convenient for the renter. The furniture in my unit was chewed, covered in pollen, dirt, and mouse feces, and largely unusable now. While the location is convenient, the lack of concern and lack of manners makes it not worth it. There is too much competition to tolerate that.
