This facility has some severe problems in how their patients are treated. Yes there may be some patients who are abusing the system, pill seekers, or other things but when the honest patients are treated like the abusers then I HAVE A PROBLEM! You go to a clinic for pain management upon referral from your general practitioner and you expect to be treated for the chronic pain you have. Yet this facility thinks that they can make you go a certain period of time without the medication that you've been receiving for over a year from the general practitioner. I'm afraid that would likely put me in the hospital and then cause me problems with the 40 hour a week job that I'm trying to hold on to. I would not refer satan himself to your clinic. Oh wait, I forgot, he already works there.

I took a friend there so many times....I agree with Randy B.'s review and all the others who revealed how they DID NOT GET ANY HELP!!! My friend is a 55 year old lady who is VERY ill with a DIAGNOSED disease. She is also poor and is not getting the type of treatment she deserves as a HUMAN BEING!!! please....help her by telling me where to get help for her!!!

I would not take my dog there wait for 5 hours for a 5 min shot in the neck! 2 nd time I went there they let me sit in the waiting room for 4 to 5 hours . then took me back and left me for another 2 hours. then when they came in at 4.30 they said it might be another 2 hours. I was ask I wanted to wait or leave I had been there about 7 hours and have not eat but they sure did. they was bringing food from one of the Pharmaceutical Sales Recruiters. they spent hours there and that was the day I was not seen and did not return my co pay. to many drug seekers witch I am not one and like to be treated like one . and for people like my self gets no treatment. I got ran over when I was younger and surgery is not possible. head neck and back Injuries. I have seen vets that cared for the animals more than these people. I think they need an audit by all insurance claims. and audit and review by the government.

Wouldn't Even Put An Animal Through This Mill!!

Have went to this facility for over a year now and have YET to see the Doctor. Every decision (what medication, treatment, etc.) is left up to a PA.!! Not the Doctor! Even when receiving a "PROCEDURE", was always knocked out before he even came in! Was gone before waking up! This place is an INSURANCE RIP-OFF and could care less about the patients!!

From what I've seen.....sick people go and wait all day for drugs they don't need.

I am VERY pleased with my care

I have been going to Southeastern Pain Management for 4 years now and have always been pleased. Dr. Murrata is very kind and friendly as is his staff. In response to the Needle happy review, all I can say is this: If you need spinal blocks for control of your pain, the block only works for so long. It is not a miracle cure but it helps me tremendously. You usually need more than one. You can also request physical therapy if you want. I have never had any problem with referals. The doctor does review your x-rays, MRI's and tests. When you go for the procedure you can always ask him a question. He always answers my questions. Plus, at this office, you are lightly sedated for the procedure and you don't feel a thing AND they use a florascope(a type of x-ray) to precisely inject the medicine into the spine. A friend of mine had a spinal block done elsewhere where she was not sedated and she passed out from the pain. As for the numerous PA visits, you do go every 2-3 months if you are on pain medication. It is a controlled substance and needs to be monitored.

It is your health care and you have to be proactive. YOU have to voice your opinions and questions. People can not read minds. Make a list of questions before seeing a doctor and make sure that they are answered. If you don't understand something you have to let them know you don't understand.

Don't bother seeing this doctor unless you like having shots in your spine and you have plenty of insurance. No individual doctor assessment, but many PA visits and shots every couple of months.
