Opened in 1946 by LT Hartzog on a main street in downtown Gaffney, South Carolina, Hartzog's remains today one of Gaffney's finest stores offering fine jewelry, ladies apparel, gifts for all occasions, custom framing, awards and much more. Started in a 300 square foot space, Hartzog's has grown over the years. We are now located on the corner of Limestone and Birnie Street, at 400 North Limestone Street, in an updated 5000 square foot showroom downtown. Charles Hartzog, youngest son of LT and Will Hartzog, now operates the business with his wife, Glenda. Charles and Glenda Hartzog were both born and raised in Gaffney. They have three children, Chevy, Adam and Rachel. Charles has worked in the family business since 1983. Glenda has run the awards department since 1987, and in 1998 took on the responsibility of the gift and bridal registry departments. "We are proud to be the second generation running the family business," said Glenda. "We hope to continue to be successful so that our children will have the opportunity to continue the family tradition".
