I went to Alligator Island Optical as a last resort after failing to find what I was looking for elsewhere. I assumed because of their location in Haile Plantation they were going to be overpriced. But I was pleasantly surprised by their selection, price and superb customer service. I would definitely recommend checking them out before making any eyeglass purchase.

I ordered a pair of new glasses from Gary and Lori and received superb service and attention. The first pair of lens wasn't "quite right" possibly as a result of the eye exam on-site, and they arranged for another exam to validate the previous findings.



I encourage anyone who wears glasses to stop in and look at all the gorgeous frames. They have a frame selection unlike anywhere in Gainesville- much more urban and city-like. Plus, Gary and Lori are just great people who want to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase (and are very patient as you try on frame after frame!).
