Unfortunately i can give negative rating to this hospital. So i went to the north florida urgent for a severe back spasm and the physician assistant there was transferred me to north florida regional medical center to rule out heart attack. Now they think that I am having a heart attack but still make me sit in the emergency room for 6 hours without any one seeing me. So clearly they knew that it was not heart attack but wanted to do all the unnecessary X-rays and lab tests without doing anything for the severe back pain i was having while i was waiting in the emergency waiting room. After waiting there for 6 hours I went to Shands where they promptly treated me a injection of muscle relaxant and released me in an hour with my pain gone instantly. 15 days later i get a bill of $6753 from North Florida for making me go through misery for 6 hours and providing care. They billed me for X-rays they did not take, tests they did not perform and doctor charges which I never got to see. When i called the billing department to dispute the billing they said they will still charge me for the services because i signed the consents even thought i didn't receive the services. For future reference please don't go to North Florida regional.
