San Felasco Nurseries, Inc. was founded in 1974 on a parcel of land adjacent to the San Felasco Hammock State Wildlife Preserve. The company has expanded its operations to meet the needs of industry members such as retail nurseries, landscapers and wholesale buyers. In 2004 the company registered the fictitious name Grandiflora and began doing business under the new name. The nursery is now branding its flowering plant line as Grandiflora grown long-lasting southern blooms . Grandiflora carries all the outdoor landscaping plants needed to garden in zones seven through 10. Its plants include annuals, herbs in four-inch pots, shrubs, perennials, groundcovers, flowering vines, larger trees, palms and topiaries in 15-gallon containers. With 106 acres, San Felasco has become a prominent wholesale nursery in north central Florida and has expertise in the growing of herbaceous perennials. San Felasco Nurseries is headquartered in Gainesville, Fla.
