See new stylist, Brittany if you want the latest skills in sew-ins and braids. She is whom I would recommend at this salon. She did beautiful Havana twists on my teenage daughter's hair and she has been complimented daily. She also did a great full sew-in on my natural hair and made my overgrown eyebrows look so glam...she is very courteous, client-centered and hard-working to please her client and that's why I recommend her. If your HAIR VISIONS don't match in the end and you don't like something just communicate it with her and she will fix it because that is what great customer service is all about and that is what makes this stylist so great with her clients! I wish I could rate this less than one star. I went in to get my natural hair flat-ironed for a special occasion and stressed my concerns about heat damage to both the stylist and the owner. After a rough styling (lots of tugging and pulling and repetitive passes with a smoking flat-iron) I left with hair that smelled burned.



The next day, anxious to see if my hair would revert, I found my hair to be severely damaged all the way to the scalp. The stylist also burned my scalp, by the way. My curls were stringy and straight as if I had a perm. That night, I cut off 3 inches of hair and contacted the salon soon thereafter. The owner expressed her concern and regret and offered a full refund after taking down my address. It's been a month and I have yet to hear from her. Since I last spoke to her, I have cut more hair since the straight ends keep sticking out of my braids.



I contacted her again through email and she has not responded to that or my numerous phone calls. This is the first salon I've been to in years and I firmly regret my decision to go here. Not only do I have to regrow two and a half years of hair, but the owner doesn't have the courtesy to stay true to her word to issue me a refund.



If you're natural, avoid this salon AT ALL COSTS.
