This place sucks. Order was wrong. Staff so loud you can't hear. Fries were old. Huge disappointment!! Stay away from this dump.

Was leery because of poor reviews,did not disappoint the burger was burnt black and fries were old.first and last time I will dine here

Man this is the second time they mess up my order. It's almost like it was done on purpose.

The fries were stale,the buns were burnt, my wife specifically asked for no onions tomatoes or pickles and it came with extra it seems. She tried to eat it but she hates onions and the onion taste. I wouldn't mind if they were free but no I bought these with my hard earned monenet and when I called to complain whoever answered was nonchalant and seemed to not give a ****

I will not be coming back to this location again. The service through the drive thru was awful.. They lady that was taking my order kept yelling at me to "speak up" when I was YELLING my order at her. The guy 2 car downs said "I don't understand her issue cause I here you just fine" I don't appreciate being yelled. If she would of asked nicely that would of been a different story. I've been to this location several times & I've never had this issue before.

Whoever was working the drive thru Tuesday 7/14 at 6 should be fired. How she treated me is uncalled for.

After 10 minutes of her yelling at me & kept getting my order wrong I finally drove off and went somewhere else where I had no issues with the drive thru. I will not be coming back after this & I won't recommend this location to anyone.

If you like a ballpark hamburger then this is your place. The service is bad. They messed up my order. One of the burgers was burnt.

I have been there quite a few times. Every time i go they mess up atleast one of the items on my order. Also, i have a large family so i always order multiple milk shakeS, sometimes 6 or 7. They always get the flavors wrong. Plus, when i try to call and complain, all they say is we apologize. They dont even offer to correct or replace the order. That is when they even answer. I have been calling since yesterday around 7 pm and this morning. They just dont answer

The food was excellent and shockingly reasonably priced! A family of 5 ate for $21! Great food for a great price!

I've have been there around 5 times.I have only orderd food 2 times and both times they were not right,Once i ordered the chopped pork bbq price was good but pork was dry and in was not chopped but appeared to be put in blender to shred it.I did not eat it also very salty. 2nd time I ordered the Regular burger with cheese, They gave me a COOK OUT STYLE BURGER which means Chilli and onions. (Both times I ordered them thru drive thru.) Both times I called and was told I'm sorry Thats all. Not bring it back and we will make another one ,only I'm sorry, what about 2 times that money thrown away and disappointment. poor customer service is what thier all about. Forget the shakes and fair prices when my food and the money is put in thier pockets and I do not get anything in return.

The burgers are so juicy, cooked to your likings , the side dishes are fabulous, and the strawberry cheesecake milkshake Is to die for! If you have not tried it, you have no idea what you're missing! The cookout is a winner with my family! It's by far the best thing that's come to this town in a long time. Thank You to The Cookout!

The food was nasty, messed up our order. Rude at the drive-thur. Really looked forward to eating from Cook-Out. Was very disappointing. Ordered BBQ tray 3 Double Cheese burger trays, with an extra Double cheese burger. None of it was right and just nasty. Will never eat there again.

My family and I have ate at this location five times in the first three weeks after opening. We were incredibly excited when it opened as we have made a point on trips to look for locations that weren't TOO far out of the way.



Considering that it is a brand new staff, I'm sure there have been some kinks here and there (only a fool would think otherwise) but all totaled we've ordered 20 combos without issue - often at peak times with lines to the door and nowhere to sit.



For those unfamiliar with Cook Out, they have a wide variety of sandwiches from grilled burgers and chicken to western NC style BBQ and quesadillas. Sides are wide ranging including bacon wraps, chicken nuggets, fries, hush puppies, and more. You'll get more food, and better food, for $5 than you can at pretty much any other fast food restaurant.

I've scored this 1 star because I can't score it a 0.



To say that "The Cookout" butchered my order would be the understatement of the century. Only about half the food I ordered made it's way into the bag, and what was inside was far from being correct. I had ordered 2 sides, received 1, and it was neither of the two that I had originally asked for. My burger had one patty instead of two, and had absolutely NO toppings on it either.



Now this could all be chocked up to bad timing, or just dumb luck IF and only IF it hadn't happened twice in a row. I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again, at a notoriously un-busy time. I made a small order at 3 PM for a hamburger, a quesadilla, and onion rings with no thought that it could be misinterpreted. I spoke clearly and made sure the drive thru attendant had heard my order correctly. Instead I was greeted with a plain hamburger (not what I ordered), a cup of slaw (not what I ordered), and no quesadilla.



I could possibly look past this if the food was good but it is especially unremarkable.

Cookout is a great restaurant. I've been waiting for one to be built in Gainesville for a long time. Good food for a really good price.

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. Although it was fairly inexpensive, I could get a burger that tasted about the same at Burger King for less money. Although it dais "Big Double", the amount of meat on my burger was skimpy at best. Also, in my opinion the meat was dry and overcooked. The onion rings seemed to be baked as well. The only thing that I enjoyed was the fact that Cheerwine was a beverage option. I will certainly not be back again.
