East Hall Middle School, established in 1987, is located in Gainesville, Ga. The school has an annual enrollment of more than 850 students in grades six through eight. It organizes a range of sporting activities, such as football, cross country, basketball, track and field, cheerleading, wrestling and soccer. The school has a library media center that enables students and staff to effectively locate and use information and to encourage lifelong learning. Its library offers a collection of fiction and nonfiction books, as well as access to the computerized card catalog. The school offers educational classes in fine arts, special education, math, science, social studies, computer applications and physical education. East Hall Middle School is operated by Hall County Schools, which also operates other elementary, middle and high schools.
