The People that manage this place are the most unprofessional Leasing Agents ever! They will lie to you about the Conditions of these Low Grade Apartments and will do the best they can to force you into a apartment that is only fit for Dogs and Farm Animals! Do not even waist your time with this Complex! The conditions of the carpets are infested with Animal Droppings and who knows what else! The appliances are worn and the Counter Tops are all stained and cuts all in them from knifes and any other types of cutting and cooking utensils! They rent to anybody that is willing to pay up front with a one Month's Rent Full Deposit that's along with $100.00 to hold an apartment that will not be ready for you to see until they try to force you into it at the last minute after about Six Days after you put down the Deposit to hold it! This a Tactic they use to make money up front and if you turn down the available unsanitary Unit then they will just move on to the next person in line that may rent the Units! Do not believe anything they say to you because the Leasing Agents are just the most nice people at first if they see that they can use you for the purpose I mentioned above! The Complex is infested with Crime as well and if you really look at the other Reviews from other Websites you will see the Truth about The Retreat At McEver and how it has gone to the Dumps with this Management that is now doing just whatever they want with people and don't care what you want and how to make you Happy! It's all about themselves and how to keep these Run Down Apartments full along with placing you in them without fixing them up first! The only thing they care about mostly is to make a Quick Commission from you and the Owner of the Complex!

Stay away from this place if you don't want to be used and abused! They will tell that there is only a certain apartment available in a certain floor level and con you into that particular one when really they have others that are ready so that they have you stuck with whatever Unit they want to put you in! They will tell you that if you don't take the apartment that is available and if you have placed a $100.00 Deposit to hold it then you loose your money! This is a type of Entrapment they use to force you to take the Units that are in Bad Conditions! Stay Away for your own good!
