We moved into a home with a Kiser Arena and arena groomer already installed years ago. We are team ropers and our arena has the reputation as having one of the best footing in the area, which is a big deal because we live in the Team Roping capital of the US in the winter. We thought we needed to add sand but didn't want to do anything that would ruin the best arena footing we have ever ridden in and the reputation of our arena. We called Kiser and Bob Kiser had us send him samples and pictures. After talking with him, we feel so blessed the owners before us invested in such an amazing arena following his directions. They clearly know their stuff and how to keep the ground to protect the investment we have in our horses. We now know how to keep it as good as new and appreciate what we were taught to keep the integrity living on. We used to add sand annually to our old arena, this arena hasn't needed additional sand since it was new and won't for a long time saving us $ and hassle. We also found out they are about to announce a dust minimizer product we are excited to try. Our arena has very little dust and doesn't need a lot of water to maintain it compared to any other arena we have owned but anything to lower dust is a good thing.
