OK so the inevitable cliche is "better than Starbuck's," which is true. A small, local chain, I've been in the Gainesville, Harrisonburg and Staunton shops and they make a great latte. Actually tastes like coffee unlike the machine-made ones Starbuck's pulls now. Buy the beans and take them home too. The Gainesville shop in Heritage Hunt also has live music on Friday evenings, just as a coffeehouse should.
