I'm disappointed with Pei Wei in Gainesville. I've been a customer since they opened. Today @ 11:40am a Mexican lady charged me $1.99 & .99 for xtra veggies on 2 dinners. I asked for extra sweet chili sauce and she charges me for that too! I understand they have to make money, but why didn't she tell me about the xtra charges when I ordered. She represents Pei Wei in a bad way.
Don't take this wrong, their food is awesome.
I haven't had to pay these extra charges before.

Good tasting entrees, but the rice is downright awful. That always ruins it for me. How can you call it Asian food and then serve awful rice?
Counter ordering. Menus on TV near the door, which I don't care for. It keeps changing while you are trying to read it. More ad based than menu based. Food will be delivered to your table. Service is quick, but indifferent. Self serve drinks. Condiments are plentiful and good, and self serve.
One thing of note: I always get certain "digestive problems" when I eat at ANY Pei Wei (not just here). However, the bathrooms are clean! But only one person at a time, so pray you don't have to wait. Make sure you visit before driving home or back to work.
