Provided by YP.comI have been to this denstist a couple of times now and am very impressed. My husband and children have been as well. The secretary/receptionist is friendly and helpful, the hygeniests are super nice and Dr. Sumner went out of his way to make me comfortable during the visit especially given the anxiety I get at any dental appointment, even just exams. There were things that were suggested might need to be done at some point but no pressure whatsoever was put on me to have any of it done right away. I've had many bad expeiences with dentists, but my experience at this office gets five stars!

Provided by YP.comI went to this dentist and was told that I had 7 cavities even though xrays were not done and i didn't have any cavities at my previous checkup with another dentist 6 months prior to this appointment. My husband went for a cleaning several days after I did and was also told by Dr. Sumner that he had 7 cavities as well (my husband had also had a cleaning 6 months prior to this with no new cavities). My husband agreed to get two of the cavities filled. What we were quoted as our out-of-pocket costs to get these filled (after they had supposedly checked on our insurance as I had requested) was completely inaccurate - we ended up paying over double what they had quoted us. After having consistent pain in one of the teeth that was filled, my husband called to make an appointment to get the filling checked, assuming that something was done incorrectly. Dr. Sumner told him that the tooth was now cracked (it was not cracked before the filling was done) and requires a root canal. Dr. Sumner refused to admit that he cracked the tooth while doing the filling, even though the pain in the tooth started as soon as the filling was done. My husband was informed that he must have bitten into something hard since the filling and cracked the tooth. Needless to say we will never visit this dentist again and would definitely not recommend this office to anyone.
