I am so grateful for my time at the Forge dojo and cannot emphasize enough the impact that training here has had not just on my physical well-being but also on my emotional fortitude and readiness to handle confrontation should the need arise. I greatly appreciate the unique community that Sensei Bob has built—it is one of humility, friendliness, zeal for learning, and dogged perseverance. No matter how tough the workout, you will always see smiling faces around you, excited for the challenge and opportunity to grow alongside each other. It is this atmosphere that continues to draw me back to the Forge even after moving away to college. No matter how long it’s been or how rusty my technique is, I’m always reminded of this phrase that I think really captures the attitude of the people who train here: “Everyone works, nothing is free, all start at the bottom.” And all are welcome…that is, if you’re not afraid of a little sweat. —Sydney Finch

It’s a great school and great environment, from the instructors to students, all of them are very friendly and welcomed individuals, great place to work out and learn more about karate kyokushin and its methods in the martial arts .
