Fair Price! Excellent Service! We were brand new homeowners. We got our first electric bill for the month before we moved in and I heard my husband’s scream coming from the dining room. We consoled each other and held a head to head conference. What can we do to save energy? The very first weekend we had caulked the house airtight. What else is there to do? We could lower the thermostat setting… but the house is so cold already as it is with the thermostat set to 68F… unplug the fridge and store our food outdoor… but the deer and critters will eat our food… get a blanket for the hot water heater... how much will this save?... Get our HVAC system serviced… good idea! We had the system checked by another company and were told the compressor was dead and the whole system needed to be replaced. We decided to get quotes from other HVAC providers and found RepairMax on the official TRANE website and called them because they were near. After some research and a few quotes, we decided to go with RepairMax because they had the best price, best product, best speed, and best reviews. They sent a tech to give an estimate the same afternoon, and two business days later the old system was removed and the new system up and running. We picked TRANE XL16i heat pump and XL Hyperion AirHandler. Our home is warm and comfortable and quiet for the first time since we’ve moved in, which is about a month ago. The RepairMax technicians were punctual, efficient, expedient, knowledgeable, pleasant, polite, kind, hard-working, competent, and thorough. At the end of the day when they finished the installation, the house got warm right away. During the next hour, the techs went through the house and thoroughly checked each air vent to make sure the temperature was properly registered, and did other various tests. I was impressed with their level of professional competence and trust them with all my heart to give us a fair price and good service every time. I realize that RepairMax had several negative reviews from 2010 and earlier; they must have dealt with these issues since. We are very pleased and will keep their HVAC business for life.

The Technician was very professional. He cleaned up after himself and made sure everything was working properly. The customer service staff was friendly and went out of their way to schedule my air conditioning repair at the time that I wanted.

They were professional to deal with. The repair cost was not bad, and the manager called afterward to make sure that I was pleased with the service. I purchased a Service agreement which was reasonably priced.(2 visits for $159). Overall experience was good, would recommend to others.

They responded very quickly, were flexible with the scheduling, answered questions professionally, very knowledgeable about the service needed and about other products or services of potential interest to me in the future. I have recommended them to others already. The experience was a great one.

I paid Repairmax for a maintenance agreement for two years but now find out they did not properly maintain my AC/Furnace system. Their service manager Sean even admitted this to me over the phone. As a consequence, a pump has now failed and my home warranty company denied my repair claim because the unit was not properly maintained. What was I paying Repairmax for?! In addition to the money I paid Repairmax, I am now out $400 out of my own pocket to replace the pump (once a home warranty claim is denied, you already owe their repair company $130 just for walking through your door so I had no choice but to replace it then and there) after being told by the warranty company tech that $4 worth of bleach would have prevented the entire problem. And what is Repairmax's response to this? "Gee, I don't know what to tell you." That's it. They don't care about me as a customer. They already have my money so I am screwed.



Save your money. Avoid this company.

"Repair max arrived promptly, quickly diagnosed a problem with the circuit which provided power to the blower motor, and replaced it. They cleaned up well and our AC is back in business. Would recommend strongly, and will use them again if needed."

The technician "Sean" had our heat back on in less than 20 minutes.(We had a bad igniter on our furnace). The cost was much less than I expected and I felt very comfortable dealing with him. I was also pleased that this company was able to come out the same day. The office staff seemed very nice compared with others that I have used in the past. They agreed to call me 30 minutes before arrival so that I could meet them from work. I will definately refer them to friends and family. Thank You Guys!, Chris
