New River Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Galax, Virginia, provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older of all genders who are suffering from opioid addiction. MAT addresses the emotional, behavioral, and physical aspects of opioid addiction. After completing a comprehensive assessment, a patient may be prescribed Suboxone, methadone, naltrexone, or buprenorphine.
