BEWARE!!!!!!! I took a custom upholstered couch and matching valances to Betty the owner in November of 2012. She raved about the couch and the valances. The couch had been stored in our garage and had some damage done to the cushions but very minimal. She also said the valances matched so that could be used for repairs. She said that she thought she could get $400.00 to $500.00 out of the items. I trusted her because I had known her a long time.. BEWARE!!!! She is not the person I thought she was!!! In leaving the merchandise I did not sign a contact and when checking back in January to see if the things had sold ( as I had heard nothing from her) she threw me a check for $99.50. I said Betty I would never have sold the couch and valances for that , why did you not call me first?? (Answer). We do not call customers!! This is what you got and theirs your check!!!!!!!! RUDE, RUDE , RUDE! I tryed to talk with her and told her I was unhappy with this amount. She started to the telephone and threatened to call the police.. I said call them but get the couch back or you owe me more money. My husband and I tryed to go and talk to her and she again raised her voice and threatened to call the police and had a restraining order put against us to not to come into the store... We were only trying to justify what she promised us and she was not at all a business woman... She then mailed me a contract that I had signed when she was located on Seminary street and she did not even have furniture at that business...... She would not communicate with us in any way.. I went to the police and an officer said he had other complaints that she offers more than you will get..... I can tell you the money goes into her pocket not the clients....... I will donate to my church or sell it on Craigslist.....!!!!!!!
