I will start off by saying that, when I first moved to my current house, this store was immensely convenient. It's about as close as Walgreens, but it definitely has better prices and a wider variety of "convenience" items. There were always some stocking issues (occasional understocked items or boxes blocking a small area) but nothing bad enough to warrant complaints. Now, however, the store seems to be very poorly managed. In the last six months or so, I have seen the shelves slowly but surely empty of their stock without being refilled. Boxes and stocking carts block at least 2-3 full aisles whenever I go in there, making it impossible to get to some items. I'm a sucker for candy (no pun intended) and used to frequent that area of the store, but for *at least* two months now, the candies I always get have been missing from the shelves (and I check every time I'm in there because, well, I have high hopes). That's just one of many, many examples - I went there just yesterday with a small grocery list and was only able to come back with about half of what I needed, since things like kleenex and dish soap were nowhere to be found. The only aisles that seem to get any attention are the seasonal ones.



The couple of times I've asked employees if unstocked items were available in the back, I've gotten responses along the lines of, "it's such a mess in the back I won't be able to find anything," which is frustrating for me and I imagine for them, too.



It's pretty clear there's a management issue here, and I won't be doing much if any shopping here any longer. It's really too bad since this store is such an easy walk from my house. If you're just looking to get a couple of things and get in and out, I'd suggest skipping this store and going to the Dollar General or Walgreens down the street - it's hit-or-miss whether what you need will be stocked.
