The Recreation Division is governed by the City of Galesburg in Illinois. The division offers a variety of programs and services, as well as maintains facilities for recreational activities. The Recreation Division provides opportunities for sports activities, such as softball, baseball, volleyball and swimming. It operates a beach, campground, gymnasiums and swimming pools. The division maintains the Lake Storey Pavillion, which is a facility for hosting seminars, meetings, family reunions and wedding receptions. The Recreation Division also operates a water park, recreation center and picnic shelters. In addition, it conducts swimming, tennis and lifeguard classes.
