We have lived here for almost a year and will definitely be renewing our lease for another year! The reviews giving One-Star ratings are several years old and do not reflect the current service provided at Wellington Farms. I have a toddler, and we simply use a noise machine to prevent any potential ruckus from waking her up during naps or bedtime. Any noise occurrence tends to be typical apartment stuff: doors outside, cars passing by, kids playing. The atmosphere is very friendly, and the staff (office and maintenance) are very apt to helping with whatever you need. I’ve seen complaints in reviews about rent going up and how they didn’t realize they were required to give 30-day notice to move out, etc.... anything and everything financial is discussed at the time of lease signing. If you have any further questions that you think may not have been addressed, or are simply unsure about something, ask the office! They are more than willing to help you enjoy the best apartment-living experience that you can.
The only cons I would mention would be motorcyclists leaving at 4:30 AM (probably for work, but if parked by the building, you can hear and feel the vibration), and a couple people who (for whatever reason) would like everyone else to hear the music they’re listening to when they get home... at any time of day. However, these cons can’t keep me from loving this place.
Wellington Farms is truly the best apartment complex I have ever lived in, and I would recommend them to everyone!

These reviews are proof that you can't let negative reviews be your basis of decisions made for your apartment home. My husband and I lived at Wellington for a year and it was the best living experience we could have ever imagined. We were in LOVE with our apartment, the atmosphere, our neighbors, the office, maintenance men.. everyone was amazing. Maintenance concerns were handled promptly, they were very attentive to check alarms, vents, etc. We appreciated that greatly. They kept the grounds up and clean. Men were walking the grounds every single morning picking up trash. It was the coziest, most wonderful apartment home I could've ever hoped for. I never saw a bug in our home. It was SO SPACIOUS with SO MUCH storage! The ONLY reason we moved is because we had an opportunity to live rent free for a year (who wouldn't take that?) but we would still be living cozy and happily in our little Wellington apartment if it wasn't for this opportunity. I suggest these apartment homes to EVERYONE and had 4 friends move in while we were there and they all absolutely loved it as well. If we need an apartment home before we are able to get a house, you better believe we will be running back to Wellington hoping they have space for us!! YOU WANT TO LIVE HERE!!

I have lived at these apartments for 3 years.

They may not seem cheap, but compared to comparable apartments in the area they are a very good value. It has a larger square footage that most apartments and includes all appliances for less than most others.

You have to keep in mind that these are apartments and not houses. Nearly all apartments are going to have problems with loud noises. All you can do is hope you have considerate neighbors or live on the third floor when there is no one above you and you have nice huge vaulted ceilings. I have noticed apartment seems to be quieter than other apartments I have stayed in during my life with exception of outside door slamming which is the same.

Apartment has nice new greenway behind it with a short trail connecting parking lot and short trail connecting them together.

Rent does go up approx. $20-$50 a year but so does every other place I have stayed or heard of.

I like the 24hr access to workout room with a nice variety of equipment.

I would recommend getting a third floor apartment with the sunroom option instead of the balcony. You will get quite a lot more space for computer desk, printer, and recliner than if you had a balcony. Third floor does require slightly more exercise, but the added quietness can not be overstated.

Lastly the closets in the bedrooms are huge walk in closets. Great for storing all your clothes and stuff.

Just remember when you sign a lease you are committing to stay in apartment for the duration of lease. The owner has every right to hold you to that lease. So try to make sure you choose an apartment at a location that is quieter and try to get a higher floor when you don't have to hear every activity that is going on above you. Ask several people you see at apartment complex how they like their apartments. don't just trust reviews online which typically overly negative.

Hope this rambling helps

Keep looking!!!

Lived there for 18 months - had to jump through some financial hoops to break our lease because the living environment was so terrible. Living in a cardboard box would be quieter - you can hear toilet lids slamming, microwaves beeping, every step someone takes , door slamming, and night escapades - get my drift? The management are idiots - they enforce no rules - parking is at a premium - trash all over - always finding a reason to enter your apartment - don't expect maintenance to do anything harder than changing a lightbulb. The ilk of people there has changed for the worse - pay a little more - it'll be worth it in the long run. Worst 18 months of our lives!!!

Worst Apartments Ever---Where ...

Worst Apartments Ever---Where do I begin?

1. Lease increases continually

2. Last minute advised of lease increases.

3. They make it hard to break the lease and move so you have to pay a prorated amount at a higher rate for not providing 30 days notice of moving.

4. They try to find reasons to keep all your security deposits

5. Problems with mice and or rats

6. Constantly bothered with maintenance issues every couple of months:

check alarms, change filters etc

7. They make it inconvenient to get a swimming pool pass.

8. Kids are allow to run around and disturb adults when trying to do something in the pool room, computer room, and weight room.

9. Sprinklers are turned around 8:30 pm and you cant avoid getting wet on walkways. (Do they REALLY have to water at 8:30 pm at night!).

10. Resident water bills are outrageous--They base charges (apparently) on the number of occupants and not actual usage---so no matter how conservative you are it doesn t make a difference!

11. Your pocket book at every turn.

12. Parking is hard to come by.

13. Apartments parked by the street in front of apartments tend to be noisy because of the traffic.

14. Parking is hard to come by

Positives

1. The maintenance of the outer property is well kept.

2. The staff is friendly but they do not have any authority to do anything because they always have to ask or check with the property manager for permission for anything.

3. Residents for the most part seemed friendly and helpful

Do not even consider it! If yo...

Do not even consider it! If you like getting screwed over and like dealing with ignorant office staffs like go for it. But don't move in because the rent is reasonable, because they will find a way to get your money and find ridiculous things to charge us with. And definitely do not pay rent late, because they will sue you, even if u pay the late fee. And don't think I'm joking, I can not wait to get out of here!!!
