The store is clean, the items are fresh and well priced. I was happily surprised by the store. However, the customer service department/pick up desk is difficult to deal with. I am having difficulties with canceling an item and/or picking it up. I received verification that the item is available for pick up with dates. I was told by two Walmart employees that it is not available and Walmart.com is "separate". They told me to contact Walmart.com and apologized because there was nothing they could do. I emailed Walmart.com and was informed the item was sent to the store and it is up to them to refund due to each stores policies. I was asked to contact the store. The items have been paid for. I am still attempting to get Walmart to help me with my order. While shopping in the store was a positive experience, dealing with their customer service has been frustrating. Because the store is new, I am assuming this type of problem will not continue in the future as employees learn their processes.



I have reedited this review down to one star. I have now spoken to 2 managers at Walmart. I still cannot get assistance in retrieving or canceling my order. I have been told "it will be taken care of". It was not. Not only will they not fill my order (it's been lost) they will not cancel it (which is my preference) to refund funds. I have spent a great deal of time on the phone, in the store and on the internet trying to resolve this situation. The Galt Walmart is unsafe to purchase with unless you are buying something they have on hand and IN the store. Their customer service from the managers down is the worst I've ever encountered if a problem occurs. DO NOT expect help or a resolution. I should add, I have been a customer service manager. This should be an easy problem to resolve. Read less
