Central Middle School offers learning opportunities to more than 500 students in grades six through eight. The school provides classes in science, social studies, math and English. It offers a variety of programs in Spanish, choir, band, and theater and martial arts. The school also administers the English as a Second Language program. Central Middle School s campus features a library, gymnasium and cafeteria. The school provides guidance counseling, health care and food services. It offers opportunities to participate in swimming, football and cross-country. In addition, the school operates a butterfly club. It additionally provides parenting education classes. Central Middle School is a part of the Galveston Independent School District.
