In December 2014 Amerigas made a delivery and tried to charge over $3 per gallon, when the wholesale cost was just over $1 per gallon. I immediately contacted the company, but got no response.

I contacted them again, and was told the manager would call me but he never did until I contacted corporate, and then he called agreed to lower the price and would issue a credit.

He never issued the credit. I had to stop payment on the charge, and now he is saying that he didn't drop it for he never said that.

After a discussion with corporate again, the price was dropped.

Find another provider. Amerigas is overpriced, has poor service, no call backs, and there are much better companies out there. I canceled all service and agreements and went with one of the many better local providers at half the price.

Still to this day in Oct 2016, they are trying to get me back and offering me super low rates. I pulled them from four properties and the tenants there are much happier with other less expensive, and more responsive local providers.
