Provided by YP.comDo not waste your time or money with AnyKar. Website is useless, customer service is awful, quality of work is shoddy and business practices are inefficient at best. Overall, they seem pretty shady. Their website seems useful, but we were told they don't update the inventory. We contacted them via the website and never got a response. Once we called them and asked for the item, they didn't enter the order when we called after a month with no word or delivery so they called it a rush order when we said needed it delivered two weeks later. We were promised a delivery date Wednesday which came and went with no delivery. Called Thursday am and was told to "Look out your front door, it should be there." Another day, no delivery. Promised (again) that it would be there Friday. We contacted the shipping company and were told that it would not be delivered until Monday. They hadn't actually received it for shipment until Thursday evening. We ended up driving 100 miles to pick it up because we needed it for the weekend. This particular item was a refurbished leather bench seat. The item received was not the promised reconditioned item. The frame was bent, the armrest was broken, the foam had not been replaced and the upholstery work was far from professional. In spite of sending them pictures of our original seats that we wanted the new seat to match, the pattern was completely different. Of course, we called immediately to express our dissatisfaction. The solution they offered was a passive, oh well, we'll take it back. At this point, we have almost two months and 200 miles invested and the reason we needed the seat (visiting family) was upon us. We are fixing up a 1997 Suburban as our forever vehicle and we need it to be right, not just ok, especially when we spent nearly $1200 on the seat. We worked out an arrangement that they would credit us $150 for the shipping issue and we would get a local quote to fix the seat. Submitted a quote from a local shop estimating $450 to fix most of the issues. AnyKar's immediate response was no, we'll just take the seat back. They were very rude and dismissive. Their rationale was if they refunded us that much they wouldn't make a profit. I stated that I was not concerned with their profit. If they had done quality work, they would have made plenty. Their mistakes, their problem, not mine, the customer. They said they could only give me $200 toward the repair. I was willing to work with them and said that rather than the $600 ($450 + $150 shipping refund) I would take $400 and call it even. They refused to budge from the $350 and said take it or they would take the seat back. It wasn't until I threatened legal action that they decided to go with the $400. Like I said, pretty shady business - I would NEVER do business with them again.
