Gardiner Regional Middle School, located in Gardiner, Maine, provides academic education to students in grades six through eight. The school enrolls more than 550 students and is a part of the Maine School Administrative District 11. The school s curriculum includes English, language arts, math, science, social studies, and foreign languages with a choice in French and Spanish. It also organizes various extracurricular activities, such as arts, dance, drama, chorus, band, instrumental music and trips to theater. Additionally, the school has a library and media center that provides electronic database, catalogs, fiction and nonfiction books, audiovisual aids, internet search tools and computer workstations. It also offers music and speech therapies. Gardiner Regional Middle School also provides various sports activities, such as basketball, baseball, field hockey, cross country and wrestling. The school also offers a parent-teacher association.
