Established in 1996, Sunflower Elementary School has an academic enrollment of more than 300 students in grades kindergarten through four. It organizes a variety of special programs and activities, such as family activity nights, field trips, guided reading, music performances, guided reading and science fair. The school offers an accelerated program that provides a summary and analysis of results to monitor quantity and quality of reading practice engaged in by the students. It has a parent-teacher organization that foster growth and development of the education programs. The school s academic curriculum includes math, language arts, science, social studies and basic skills.
