Provided by YP.comI am new to Rite Aid medical transportation which started on November 7th, 2014 - Friday at 11:15 PM afternoon.
I was told upon my telephone application that I need to give 48 Hours notice for medical transportation by Rite Aid medical transport.
I made Rite Aid a medical need for my Heywood Memorial Hospital appointment to have a MRI done for my Neck problems. I have seriously injured my neck. At one point when I began with this injury to my Neck I could not walk around inside my apartment. When I made it with my Rite Aid medical transportation application I was asked by the Rite Aid dispatcher why I wanted to go to Heywood Memorial Hospital. I explained I had serious Neck injuries and been waiting for about one week to have my MRI done for my Neck. It was important to make this appointment. It was important top be on time for this appointment. Because MRI schedules are tight and missing my appointment for my MRI at Heywood Memorial Hospital would only mean further delays to have medical treatment done for my Neck injuries. When I arrived at Heywood Hospital having done my MRI on my neck I was told it would take 3 days to process the MRI by medical professionals. Because of the serious nature to my Neck injuries I explained to the Rite Aid dispatcher who created an appointment for my Pick Up that my MRI appointment was an absolute necessity to examine the injuries that had been done to my Neck and also the reasons why I could not Walk inside my apartment after the injury occurred. I was given earlier Prescriptions and a Neck Brace for my Neck Injuries which Includes: IC Ibruprofen 600 MG,
IC Cyclobenzaprine 10 MG, Tramadol 50 MG.
These are anti-Inflamatory, Muscle Relaxer and Pain killers Prescribed by my Primary Physician. Making my appointment with Rite Aid was explained over the telephone that I would be Picked Up at 10:45 AM for my 11:15 Registration Appointment at Heywood Hospital in Gardner, Massachusetts on Green Street. My MRI appointment was for 11:45 AM. I was told to be prepared for my MRI appointment with my Identification Card and Medical Insurance card. It was important to be at Heywood Memorial Hospital for my MRI registration which was explained to me there would be a Pick Up at 61 Lake Street. Gardner, Massachusetts for my arrival at Heywood Hospital for 11:15 AM morning. I waited 45 Minutes for my Rite Aid transportation Inside my Building from 10:30 AM morning till 11:15 AM morning. This made me very nervous that I was going to miss my MRI appointment for my Neck injuries. Then I went back to my Apartment and telephoned Rite Aid why was it that my Medical Transportation was now 1/2 hour late. The Rite Aid dispatch told me that my Medication transportation just Arrived outside my building while I was on the telephone with Rite Aid dispatcher wondering what happened with my Scheduled appointment to be Picked Up at 61 Lake Street Gardner, Massachusetts to go to Heywood Hospital on Green Street in Gardner, Massachusetts. Then I became very Upset with the Rite Aid driver that believing I was going to be late and miss my MRI appointment only understanding my Neck Injuries and the Failure to show up for my appointment at Heywood Hospital for my mRI appointment. The Rite Aid driver became very Upset and told me he did not have to take me to my Appointment and that because I was angry that my Medical Transportation was 1/2 hour Late he said he should have Left me Behind and not take me to my needed appointment.
