Do Not Do Business with this Company!!!

I have never written a review on a business before but I am doing it now to save someone else from experiencing the unethical business practices of Lynne Cauley. My husband and I were looking for a new rental because the existing house we were in was being sold. We put down a deposit on a Friday and learned over the weekend that the new owner wanted to continue renting (which we were not aware of before). We contacted Lynne to explain the situation and to inform her as soon as possible that we wouldn’t be moving forward with the rental. Since it was such a short timeframe we figured she would be reasonable with us requesting our deposit back. We were aware that there might be some REASONABLE charge and we were OK with that. Lynne told us that our deposit was non-refundable because of the time it was off the market, even though the “For Rent” sign had never been taken down from the property. After multiple conversations with her (none of which were professional on her part), she refunded $107 of the $1600 deposit. Beware of doing business with this woman. If any unexpected events occur you can expect that you will be on the losing side of it and it WILL cost you. Please do not do business with these people!!
