THIS COMPANY IS A BIG RIP OFF
Don't rent from them ever. They tried to evict me for a pet deposit and I don't have any pets. My plumbing needed repaired every month sometimes 2 to 3 times. They are very rude and all about money. They charged me a late fee and they received my rent... This company is all about money they over charge you just because they can.

I have been a resident with Apex Realty for over 2 years and I can't wait to find a new place outside of this agency. I love our rental house but dealing with Apex had been nothing but headaches! Recently, we had black water stains on our carpets from the recent floods. I wrote the agency and Mr. Hendricks about a possible black mold and immediately Mr. Hendricks got defensive. The tone of his reply was very brash and rude. Then the repair man had the audacity to call two days later after 9pm to fix the issue, and was rude also. The other recent issue I had with them was regarding late fees. I am a good tenant, I pay on time every time. I understand the importance of receiving rental money on time especially since I own a home, so timely is not an issue of mine. But in my opinion, Apex is probably holding money in hopes of making some extra cash from late fees.I'm almost positive the actual home owners won't see any of the late fee I was charged. The problem was they opened the mail 3 days after they probably received it (paid on Tuesday, they called on Friday). They refused to show the envelope the check came in or give a receipt saying the owner did receive the money. Mr Hendricks told me, in his rude voice, he didn't need my money, that he has over 900 houses, and I can go through the dumpster for my envelope (which I don't believe it made it to the dump since they received the check at 9am and this discussion happened at 9:30am). My suggestion is be careful with this agency!

These people are a rip off! They are not professional. I wish I would have read the reviews before I signed a lease with them. NEVER AGAIN! People are right. Do not expect your full deposit refunded AND they will wait till the 30th day to cut you a check! They charge $40 for every service/repair call. They tried to charge me $20 for a light bulb and $466 for painting. The house was left spotless. Good thing I took lots of pictures. All nail holes were repaired - No damage to the walls...everything was perfect. Why am I paying for paint when that is your job when a new tenant moves in? Also, they cannot charge excessive fees like $20 for a light bulb. They never called me to do a move-out inspection as stated in the lease. When I picked up my check on the 30th at the Apex office, the itemize statement said my refund was hand delivered to me on the 29th. My deposit was $1400, they gave me $833 back! I have NEVER PAID my rent late...and this is how you treat customers? No one at Apex wanted to help me,but referred me to Stephen Crowder. I sent him a demand email w/pictures stating I intend on going to small claims court. I also requested invoices of the repairs they paid using my deposit. I contacted my attorney. I also filed a complaint with the BBB. The next day I called Stephen several times only to get his vm. Then someone at the office answered and said it would a few days before he would return my call! UNACCEPTABLE! What kind of business practice is this? I told her it was in their best interest to call me ASAP! By the end of the day, Stephen emailed me and resolved the matter. They refunded my money, but I should not have to endure this. They knew they were wrong and tried to screw me. I was prepared for small claims court --no matter how long it was going to take--because I knew I was right. If you rent with these scam artists READ YOUR LEASE THOROUGHLY, make sure when you move to take pictures, document all communication in writing/email, know your tenant rights and don't let these crooks try to screw over you!

They only receive one star because I can t give a negative one. DO NOT EXPECT TO GET ANY DEPOSIT BACK FROM THEM......EVER!!!!!!

They will make up bogus charges as to why they aren t giving the money back. If you do rent from them TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING!!!

The property I rented from them was okay. The neighborhood was quiet. I had to move because I didn t need as much space as what I had. I cleared the property, had multiple friends over to help clean just to make sure it was immaculate. I had only been there for a year and was truly only there every other week so there was no damage. Now, as a single mom I needed as much of my deposit back as possible so we made sure you could eat off the floor! I requested from them a walk through upon relinquishing the keys-NEVER HAPPENED!!!! This was my first time renting on my own-I didnt think to get pics before I left. I kept calling to see when we could walk through only to be informed that it was already done. Okay, when do I receive my $900 deposit? Uh, no... based on the trumped up charges they have ME OWING THEM!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!! I WOULD RATHER BE HOMELESS.

I have a friend still renting from them and they are continuously being RUDE and INCONSIDERATE to them. MOST HORRIBLE REALTY COMPANY EVER!
