I've been seeing Sheena at Bioderm in Garland for over a year and I think she is a wonderful Esthetician and is awesome at what she does. Sheena always does a great job while being sensitive to my concerns and desire for my skincare. I've had several different procedures done and Sheena thoroughly answered my questions. I'm always satisfied with her work and she is a delight to talk to always.

I say this with the utmost respect, my father is a medical doctor in NY....and I have a PhD....I am very, highly educated in the medical field and about lasers, and I was a client of Bioderm.

Google: YAG laser + Dark Skin + Laser Hair Removal...there are tons of Medical Doctors, specialist, and accompanying videos from reputable locations throughout the country who say that YAG LASER is the BEST for Dark Skin.

ADVICE: For my Dark Olive and Brown-skinned friends out there! Educate yourself! The best laser for Dark Olive and Brown-skinned people is the YAG LASER not the IPL!

Ask for the YAG LASER when you purchase your laser hair removal treatment. Although there are Medical Doctors at Bioderm, the Sales Reps selling you products and treatments are not MD"s (Medical Doctors), so they don't always know there is a difference between hair removal lasers you have to use on certain skin-types.

Overpriced and bad service! I have done many laser treatments before at different clinincs but never had an experience like this before. I paid around $500 for one area which I knew it was a little overpriced but I got a lot of promises so i went with it. I complained about one treatment because the hair never fell out and the clinic refused to do another treatment or even look at it before making a decision. I have 2 more sessions left and i am not even going to bother with it. Take my advise and don’t waist your money and time here. There are plenty of other clinics that charge less and give you excellent service.

So far they have been great!



I was kind of worried to go in and invest my money in my skin after reading some of the reviews from their other locations, but I worried for nothing!



The consultant who I spoke with named sheena knew excatly what my skin needed, and knew how to explain every question i had. Her knowledge about skin care is A+!

Also she was able to give me a great promotional discount for my treatments and threw in a great hydrating cleanser for free! I really have seen the redness of my skin go away and my acne scars are fading away as well! I am doing micropeels right now and I plan on purchasing more treatments in the future!

I have been going to BioDerm to see Sheena since 2011. I have always taken care of my skin being 51yo I have needed more than just a microdermabrasion. I went in for a consult at the Garland location and met with Sheena who is a athetician and she was very informative about what services they had to offer at BioDerm. I needed more help with my pores and age spots. I decided to go with my microderms in which I was comfortable and a package of photofacials. Sheena has always stepped out of her way for me and I feel as if I'm her VIP patient. I drive from southlake to see her. My microderms are always great for me, but the photofacials have evened my skin and took away my sun spots . I can put on my make up after my photofacial. BioDerm has always been very professional and corteous.
