Cable Electronics manufactures a line of high performance modulators from a single mono piece to one of the first DVD compatible, stereo plus surround sound units. The company has also added a line of pro grade audio and video distribution amplifiers for composite, component and S-video, plus digital and left and right audio. Cable Electronics created a digital intellectual property based on its patented stereo encoding process and took it to IC chip form. This chip is available through the company or by licensing agreement. Cable Electronics has returned to its cable refurbishing roots with the addition of its CATV department. This division, complete with an engineering lab, offers a variety of services from head end repair to calibration. Cable Electronics is headquartered in Garland, Texas, and was founded in 1989.
