I am licensed by the state of Texas as a Clinical Psychologist. I have been practicing in the psychology field for 20 years. I received my Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, my Master’s degree in psychology from the University of North Texas at Denton, and my Doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the University of North Texas at Denton. I completed by internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Dallas Veteran’s Medical Center.
I have extensive experience providing psychological assessment services to all ages, including children and adolescents. I have worked with individuals and families from diverse races, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. I utilize a variety of therapeutic methods that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy.
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is important to an effective therapeutic relationship. Therefore, a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment is essential and is valued with every client.
