A tech came out to check our unit do to us hearing a loud popping noise & seeing steam/smoke coming out our unit. The tech stated that it was normal to hear the noise because we have an electric pump. So we are honest people & believed him(hoping he was honest too), a few days later we heard the LOUD popping noise which woke us up (what a wake up call!) however didnt think nothing of it because our tech said it was normal. We heard it once more, a total of 3 times...well come to find out it was actually freeon that was steaming out due to the leak we had in our outside unit. We had no FREEON in our system, a leak, now a leak in our upstairs unit & we are needing a TXV valve & not to much $500 in repairs so far!!! What happened to the "BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH A REPUTABLE, STABLE & PROFESSIONAL SERVICE COMPANY" that is stated on there website site. Or the Worry FREE AIR CONTITIONING tab, "HOW ELSTONAIRE IS DESIGNED TO REDUCE CUSTOMER COST FOR REPAIRS"...Elstonaire is no where near REPUTABLE, STABLE & PROFESSIONAL!!!! If the tech had took time to really look into our problem this would have never happpened nor what we have spent $500 so far. I would recommend that you contact another company, the techs are not reliable , phony & LIARS!!! Spoke to the Assistant from Elston Aire, she stated that I shouldve called when in heard it a few days atter the tech came out!!! WHY!!!! WE BELIEVED HIM!!!!
