STARTED TO WORKOUT AND THE GUY WHO SUPPOSED TO CLEAN THE GYM INSTEAD USING HIS VACUUM TO VACUUM THE FLOOR HE DECIDED TO USE HIS BLOWER TO BLOW THE DUST INSIDE OF GYM WHILE PEOPLE WAS WORKING OUT ,A LOT OF PEOPLE THEY LEFT THE GYM AND WENT OUTSIDE TO BREATH , I WENT TO TALK TO THE GUY AND TOLD HIM THAT HE ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO USE BLOWER INSIDE WHILE PEOPLE WORKOUT , HE TOLD ME THAT HE DOSENT CARE AND THAT HE NEED TO CLEAN THE GYM , I TOLD HIM THAT YOU DONT SEE PEOPLE LEAVING BECAUSE OF YOU HE SAID THAT HE DOSENT WANT TO TALK TO ME AND HE DOSENT KNOW ENGLISH , I HAD TO LEAVE TO , THANK YOU FITNESS CONNECTION FOR BEING SO PROFESSIONAL AND HIRING THOSE KIND OF PEOPLE .

Fitness Connection is finishing out the year with a "bang"; they continue their "predatory" and very deceptive practices--even as this year closes out.

I cancelled my membership last month, enclosed a cashier check to pay for the next month, which more than covered that payment. What did they do instead? They debited my card--despite the fact of receiving a check to pay for the balance; they "accessed" my account late charges because they were not able to debit the card the first time--again, this is despite the fact they received a cashier check BEFORE THE DUE DATE for the remaining balance!

I asked them, WHY would you need to debit my card if you received a check for the balance??? It seems they want the ability to charge MORE than you owe to penalize the customer for terminating their contract!

CUSTOMER "BEWARE" -- DO NOT give these people your credit or debit card info., because even if you close or cancel the card, this company will contact Visa, who will then give them your "new" card info. and permit them to continue to debit your account!!

Even after speaking with the area in charge of payments, they stonewall you, give you a "scripted" answer, they make NO ATTEMPT to resolve the issue, AND --if you look further down this Facebook page--- you can see that this is NOT the first time that this has occurred. These types of issues having being going on for quite some time now. If this company was innocent, why has there been NO ATTEMPT to resolve and/or correct the wording on their contract, so that "future" customers would NOT be mislead or deceived??? WHY--because Fitness Connection is a "predator", a scam --AND a sham!!

Go online to sites like "Yelp", "YP.com" and others and see the overwhelming bad reviews this company has; it's "ATROCIOUS"!

Consider yourself warned; proceed at your own risk.

Potential customers beware. As many other customers have stated, WATCH OUT FOR THEIR CANCELLATION POLICY. They make it a hassle for you to cancel and build into their policy to make you pay for another month if you're not careful:

- You have to send them a cancellation request 30 days prior to the day you want to cancel. That means if you send a request on February 1, you will have to pay for the month of March.

- The only way to cancel is to send in a letter stating that you want to cancel, your reason, and your member ID via certified mail (additional cost). That means you can't do it in person, online, email, phone. Such a hassle and I can't think of a reason why they would do this except to make cancellation more difficult.



From reading other reviews, many customers have had problems with lost mail and additional billing after sending in their requests, so I hope my request actually goes through. Good luck.

Very bad experience and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have children. Their was a misunderstanding and miscommunication on both my part and an employees part while I was picking up my child from the daycare area. Several minutes into the situation, I was approached by another employee who was very aggressive in the manner of threatening me, insulting me, and challenged me to a physical fight while I had my 2 year old boy next to me holding his hand. The aggressive employee after getting very jumpy and untucking his shirt to show that he wanted to fight, was being held back (restrained) by a few other employees. All of this took place INSIDE THE KIDS DAYCARE AREA!!! IN FRONT OF CHILDREN!! What kind of company allows this type of behavior from their employees??? Whatever the circumstances, whoever the person, or whatever the point is, an employee should never under no circumstances challenge a paying customer to a fight outside ESPECIALLY IN FRONT OF KIDS!!!!

Very bad customer service! Vice president tried over charging me for enrollment fee; while I know he gives discounts to other people. After giving me a minute amount off and me not agreeing to it, he walked away saying "next time give it to him for full price." I found this very childish. Never stepping foot inside this place ever again!
