Ok, I'm going 5-stars on this place, a rarity for me: in otherwise quiet almost haunted Downtown Garland Square, this little gem of a place is on State street. Nice space, nice patio, nice choice of house brewed beers (and wine for those that need their pinkies raised): now for the food.

I ordered a half pound of lean brisket, a half pound of moist brisket, and some ribs. The brisket were amazingly 'bark-y' and just the right among of smoke, the ribs smoked perfect for me (a little tug required, not overcooked "fall of the bone" crap), and while I never do this, even the BBQ sauce in bottles on the side table was tasty (on my finger anyway).

I really like this place.

The Barber Q is the best that I have ever had. Also the craft beer goes great with it I have been there about 2 times a week since they opened.
