I always go out of my way to drive into Garner to take my items to Ho's. They are efficient and kind - and their prices can't be beat! I've had bridesmaids' dresses taken in, hems re-sewn, and even buttons sewn back onto tuxedos. Love this place!

Prom dress nightmare...brought my daughters dress in to have hem lifted, had to use the restroom which was past the sewing room, it was absolutely filthy. Cost was 70 to take the hem up which I was willing to pay for quality work. Arrived yesterday to pick the dress up and the white portion had black on it(I assume from the dirty floors and workstations) I now have to pay to have it cleaned before prom, when I said that I wanted to know what he was going to do about adjusting the price to offset the cleaning that it now needed, he asked how I was going to prove they got it dirty I said with the pictures I took when he was pinning it up. I told him we brought it to them in a bag straight from the store we bought it from and my daughter was having her pictures done in the dress he said take them from far away. Beware if you bring something in to have altered that is expensive and light colored, and prepare for them to argue with you if you have an issue with anything they have done.

Last year they did a good job on m daughters prom dress, but NOT this year. We went to pick up her dress and they had added extra fabric to help unpucker the zipper... It looked like she had a tumor on her right hip. I asked them to remove the fabric and work on the zipper... They didn't remove the fabric, but just reduced what was there, but added extra fabric on the other side... Now it looks like she has two tumor's... one on each side. They didn't do what I asked... I don't know if it is due to a communication issue (not very good English) or if they just didn't listen to me... then argued with me about what I told them to do. They don't get a 3rd chance. I'm looking for a new tailor that speaks English. I'm only giving them a one star because I have to click on something in order to save my review.
