Arrived at 2:30 on Tuesday, June 28th to be told the alterationist went home because "there were only two customers all day." To add insult to injury, the shop will be closed from June 29th to the Fourth of July for some reason.



Will never, ever go back to this tailor. I'd recommend anyone CALL first to make sure they actually have staff (which seems outrageous considering they are also closed on Mondays).

My husband needed his leather vests to be fixed and patched, the lady was extremely nice and my husband was very pleased with her job. It looked professionally altered. I recommend Tailor On 42 to everybody who wants great jobs done.

My daughter had prom coming up and her dress needed altering. The lady was very nice and afterwards the dress looked like new; alterations were perfectly done. Had a wonderful experience here and I highly recommend this shop.

I had a real good experience at this shop. They fixed my dress that was altered but poorly done by a cleaners. She altered the dress and it looked like it was new. Great tailor and nice shop. She knows her stuff.
