My local trash company, ABC Sanitation, was bought out by Waste Industries, and I just called to cancel. We have other alternatives that provide better customer services and provide recycling AND trash pickup for the same cost that Waste Industries does ONLY trash.



Recently, they damaged my trash can on pick-up day and the lid was nowhere to be found; i immediately called them and they said someone would come replace the trash can. They told me to leave the can at the curb so they would come pickup the one they damaged and replace with a new one. Nobody came that day, so they said someone would come the next day...still nobody came, meanwhile I have my trash can sitting out there with no lid, empty for several days, as they continue to promise they will come pick it up. Keep in mind, that when I call them I am put on hold for up to 10 minutes waiting to talk to someone, which is irritating as well.



I finally get sick of getting the runaround and not being able to use my trash can since it's at the curb instead of in my garage with a LID where it belongs. I end up cancelling the services, which I prepaid for the quarter (July-September), and they say they cannot refund me for the month of September. Irritating, but it works out okay, because I am working with another company that is providing me services for FREE in September, to make up for this company's incompetence and unfair practices. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Worst customer server I ever received in my entire life. I have had to call them 7 or 8 times to get my garbage picked up. It has been 3 weeks on recycling and 2 weeks on my other. If you want your garbage picked up don't use them. This app makes me give 1 star they don't deserve it.

Typical big business combined with crappy customer service; they do some stupid pick-up service that if the week has a federal holiday in it, service is postponed one day that week. They also have failed to pick up trash on schedule. They're not eating up all local competition in the Johnston County area.
