Head Start helps families and children prepare for kindergarten. It serves 3-5 year olds. Your child must be 3 by August 1st of the year. If this location doesn't work for you there are over 20 locations in both Lake and Porter County to serve you. If you call Head Start's toll free number they will connect you with a program nearest to your home or you can call the St. Mark's site directly. I took the step to call and am so happy that we did. We are very happy with the preschool education our daughter is receiving and also are happy with the resources extended to our familiy! Thanks Geminus Head Start!
