My driveway started to break apart after 1 month. Their was about 3/4 of an inch of asphalt where it is comming apart. Not sure how thick the rest of it is. I was told it would be 2.5 inches after compaction. I called Clark Stevens (Tim & Sons)at 219-713-4282 and he said he and his partner Sonny would come and fix it. They made multiple dates (over 5)when they would show up to repair and never did. It is 6 months later and nothing is done. They ran out of asphalt in the middle of the job and now I have a seam. The grade is not all that great either.

I hired them to ashalt an existing gravel driveway. They promised me a 2 year guarantee and 2 1/2 inches of blacktop after compaction....I got 1/8 inch to 1 inch thickness measuring at the center of my driveway. Within 2 weeks of application chunks of the asphalt began breaking off, you could see cracks and grass and weeds were growing through as well. The first day they came over to apply the asphalt they ran out and had to come back the next day with the remaining asphalt.....there is a big lump where the two asphalt applications meet, the width if the driveway, approximately 5 inches wide. They were suppose to change the pitch of the driveway because it was pitching toward my garage, but couldn't because the equipment they used (which they kept emphasizing was like brand new) wasn't heavy duty
