Sandhills Middle School serves more than 575 students in grades seven and eight. Its academic curriculum includes social studies, language arts, science and math. Sandhills Middle School offers a variety of exploratory classes in teen wellness, career education, physical education, art and chorus. In addition, it offers elective courses, such as band, French and Spanish, and drama and performing arts. Sandhills Middle School also organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, including a student council, yearbook, varsity, junior varsity, B-team athletics, marching band and Beta club. The school is a part of the Lexington School District Four. Sandhills Middle School is located in Swansea, S.C.
